Fresh off of another championship title this past season, it is no surprise that Kansas City residents are tuning in to support their local team in droves. Thanks to Taylor Swift’s recent attendance as well, buzz surrounding the Kansas City Chiefs is reaching new heights. Sunday afternoon’s game on WDAF (FOX) drove an impressive 46.7 live household rating, earning the title of top broadcast series of the week. Extensive pre and post-game coverage also ranked highly, helping to earn WDAF (FOX) the title of the top broadcast network of the week as well, while earning an average live household rating of 4.8 throughout the week. On cable networks, College Football on ESPN had a very strong week, earning the number one spot amongst broadcast series thanks to a live household rating of 5.6. However, on the network side, it was FNC (FOX News Channel) that earned the number one position thanks to an average live household rating of 1.0 throughout the week.
