Despite Utah not having its own NFL franchise, Salt Lake City residents are still clearly invested in this year’s football season.
All five of the top broadcast series this week involved NFL coverage, with NBC Sunday Night Football on KSL (NBC) earning the top position. This Sunday night matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants earned a live household rating of 18.3 and an average audience of approximately 142.4K. KSL (NBC) translated this success to our broadcast network ranking as well, with the network earning the number one position thanks to a live household rating of 2.9 throughout the week.
On cable networks, Monday Night Football on ESPN earned the top position in our series ranking thanks to an average live rating of 3.2. On the network side, it was FOX News Channel that topped our list, earning an average live household rating of 1.2 throughout the week.
