Comscore and Snowflake: A Vehicle for Privacy Compliant and Frictionless Data Delivery at Scale
Comscore and Snowflake came together on May 1, 2024, in a webinar called ‘Comscore Collaborates with Media Partners in Snowflake Data Clean Rooms for Audience Insights, Measurement, and Enrichment’. It was an hour geared towards technologists, business analysts, and media professionals.
It only makes sense that these two partners are coming together to talk about collaboration. Comscore is a trusted currency for planning, transacting, and evaluating media across platforms and Snowflake has the mission to mobilize the world’s data by building the greatest data and applications platform.
It's been a pleasure to work with the Snowflake team for the better part of the past 18 months to help our customers more frictionlessly collaborate with Comscore’s data assets. We are now LIVE inside of Snowflake’s data clean rooms.
Together the two companies are now providing a secure, fast, and easy-to-use platform for data sharing and analysis. Coming together to share use cases we have jointly seen from Comscore's clients and the solutions enabled by partnering with Snowflake was a fun and enlightening conversation.
Our joint webinar detailed three main pillars that utilizing a data clean room like Snowflake addresses: privacy compliance, frictionless access, and scale. During this event, Dawson Smith, Data Cloud Principal at Snowflake, highlighted Snowflake's ability to centralize data and unlock collaboration, while Haley Alexander, Senior Manager of Sales Engineering at Snowflake, shared how Snowflake's data cleanroom solution can be used to activate, attribute, and measure data.
Kelly Barrett, Comscore's SVP of Product Management, detailed a use case for data enrichment. Joe Delfino, VP of Strategy and Business Development, talked through two additional client use cases that focus on new methods for clients to share data to Comscore without exposing PII and how clients can access and gain insights from Comscore's television data assets through the use of native applications.
In our upcoming series, we'll seek to share more details than could fit in a webinar about these use cases. Stay tuned for more insights!
