UK Engagement with Online Video Descends with Age
Nearly 34.8 million unique visitors watched online videos for an average of 29.8 hours per viewer in the UK during April 2012. A look at the demographic profile showed 15-24 year olds to be the most engaged age group, spending an average of 42.1 hours watching online videos during the month. 25-34 year olds werent far behind, spending an average of 42.0 hours per viewer. As age ascends, the amount of time spent watching online videos descends. Internet users above 55 were only exposed to an average of 21.5 hours of online video a month.
